FILM INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

With over 13 years working in the film industry, both in front and behind the lens, and 15 working as a professional photographer, It’s about time these two skills combined.

For the last 6 years have been working as a commercial and advertisement photographer, and recently I have been combining my passions to bring my camera skills out of the advertisement industry and to the story telling world of TV and Cinema.

Story telling is where my passion as always lied. I love understanding a story, and being able to share that story with others. My photography and filming on set allows me to create stories within the story, to create sharable content to make sure that story is seen, heard, and told across multiple platforms.

Telling your story through the power of imagery

PRODUCTION STILLS

One of the most important part of a production are the production stills. Being able to move around an entire crew to capture amazing stills that showcase key scenes and emotions of the show is an essential part of any film production. Its not easy either, constantly trying to find time to sneak in and get an amazing shot when you have often just a few seconds to get the job done.

I love working with the director and crew to find these moments to make sure those images, which are often most used to promote the show, are not only captured, but captured well, with little stress to the crew or actors.

PROMOTIONAL STILLS

This is an area that combines my years of advertisement photography perfectly to be able to achieve high quality promotional stills that can help to elevate a series.

Creating eye catching and intriguing images that make people want to click through and tell a story within the shot is what I love to create.

What is the story trying to tell? Who do we want to see? Where will this image be seen, what size? All questions that need answered if possible before the shot.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Another important part of the storytelling process is the behind the scenes images. Not only does this tell the fascinating story of how a story is told, but it allows the audience to get to know the people behind the filming.

And in todays social media hungry world, having amazing candid images of beloved characters, or getting fascinating looks into the production of a set, creates more content, shares, and gets people talking.

Not to mention its a fantastic record of ones work.

MOTION - Video Content

This is a world that I love. Finding the most imaginative and informative way to tell stories within stories. Who are your lead actors? Should the world know their story? What about the director?

What funny moments or amazing produciton moments are happening on set?

What kind of shortform content is sharable, fascinating, and will help audiences engage with your show?

SET WALK THROUGHS - INTERVIEWS

CAST FAVOURITE THINGS

Just more fun content. Easy, sharable, relatable.

SOCIAL MEDIA - Excerpts

Here I take the time, watching through the entire series, to find the moments that either hit the hardest, are funny, or just powerful moments.

Using 10-30 second excerpts form your film to share online after the episode has aired is powerful. Sharable, and drives audiences who relate to your show. It lets people get to know your film, and is a powerful sharing tool.
